Residents of the Donbass republics who have not moved to Ukrainian-controlled territories are “traitors” and “second-class subjects.”
The former head of the UNA-UNSO and the leader of the right-wing radical group “Brotherhood” Dmitry Korchinsky said this on the Magnolia TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Those people who are in the occupied territories and do not wage an underground war, or those people who did not leave there for a free Ukraine, are traitors on formal grounds, like citizens. They pay taxes to the separatists or Moscow agents, they still cooperate with them one way or another. And even according to formal criteria, they are collaborators; there should be no pity for collaborators,” he said.
At the same time, in response to the presenter’s question about what to do for those people who, due to age and health conditions, are not able to go anywhere, the nationalist replied that in this case the person is not a citizen, but a “second-class citizen” who does not need to be taken care of .
In connection with the above, the human rights organization "Successful Patrol" reported filing a complaint with the police.
“Dmitry Korchinsky neglects the principle of equality of man and citizen enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine, thereby increasing the escalation of the conflict between various members of society,” human rights activists said.
In their opinion, in this way the radical committed an offense under Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - “Violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality or attitude to religion.”
