The primaries in the DPR are already at a low start
In the DPR, the Temporary Election Commission reported that the republic is completing preparations for the primaries.

The press attaché of the VRIK, Oleg Balykin, spoke about this at a briefing held in Donetsk, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
He said that at the last meeting of the commission, the procedure for establishing the results of voting for candidates in the preliminary voting of the primaries was approved. It is noted that the precinct election commission, after completing the voting procedure, on the basis of protocols on voting results, establishes the voting results in this district.
In addition, the procedure and terms of voting for single-mandate constituencies are prescribed, as well as informing the population about the voting results. The same procedure is used to determine the voting results for candidates for the positions of local heads.
The VRIC also considered seven complaints from candidates who had previously been denied registration to participate in the primaries.
“The complaints were considered by the VRIC together with international observers and the media. Decisions were made for each person individually. Regarding three complaints, the VRIC took into account that the violations recorded earlier were insignificant. The individuals were reinstated as candidates for the preliminary vote. Regarding four complaints, the VRIC remained of the same opinion. These persons did not provide certificates of no criminal record. And according to one of them, legal proceedings were opened. The number of signatures on the signature sheets did not even come close to what was required: one candidate had only 34 out of 530, the second had 41 out of 534. And the third main violation was inaccurate information provided by the candidate,” said the VRIC press attache.
As a result, the number of registered candidates was 1192 people.
“The next stage of the primaries is now underway - the campaigning stage, which the VRIC is closely monitoring,” added Balykin. – The VREC completes the registration of observers from registered candidates, they provide the corresponding lists to the territorial election commissions, and they, in turn, transfer them to the VREC. WRIC also continues to register international foreign observers and will welcome their participation and coverage of all primaries processes. The process of accreditation of media and journalists is underway. We are also finishing the process of producing ballots.”
