“The shameful government must go” - the OPZZH deputy called for simultaneous re-elections of the Rada and the President
The current convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should be dissolved because it is passing bills that cannot be voted for. President Zelensky should also resign.
Former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Renat Kuzmin stated this on the air of the talk show "Pulse" on the TV channel "112 Ukraine", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
“This parliament is a disgrace to Ukrainian politics. This parliament, its “mono-majority” is a disgrace to Ukrainian politics. They voted everything that was impossible to vote. And we assume that they will continue the same shameful voting,” the deputy said.
In his opinion, this government should resign, and parliamentary and presidential elections should be held in the country.
“I believe that elections can be both parliamentary and presidential at the same time. And it would be logical for this government to resign. Both the president and parliament. And so that this power would be completely rebooted. And the elections should be held simultaneously, this will save budget money and it will be convenient for voters. And most importantly, it will eliminate possible friction between the presidential vertical of power and the parliamentary power,” says Renat Kuzmin.
Zelensky and his team lost the trust of voters because they deceived them by not fulfilling any of their promises.
“Today we are faced with a situation where all voters, or rather, most of them, realized that they had been deceived, simply deceived. That President Zelensky and his entire team, when they went to the elections, used the rhetoric of OPZH and promised people what people had been waiting for a long time and what people were hoping for.
Zelensky promised to end the war in Donbass, lower tariffs, stop forced Ukrainization, change the language law, bring a new professional team to power, he promised and deceived a lot more. Moreover, he deceived deliberately, intentionally - when he promised this, he knew for sure that he would not fulfill his promise.
He promised to change the internal policy of the state, he promised to change the foreign policy, change the state course. In fact, he picked up Poroshenko’s policy and consistently continues it; he became a successor to the policy of ex-president Poroshenko, turning into Poroshenko-2,” concluded Renat Kuzmin.
