The permanent representative of Crimea under Putin described the scenario for Russia's victory. What prevents it from being realized?
American and Western analysts are actively testing the boundaries of nuclear deterrence on the part of Russia, beyond which one cannot go, so as not to expose oneself to danger.
This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government and the republic's permanent representative to the president, Georgy Muradov, at the international forum "Friends of Crimea – Friends of Russia," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The real war of the United States against Russia is of an existential nature for Russia, because the plans of the opponents are not secret, they are published in a number of documents, and we scrupulously study these documents.
I am also involved in this process and will give some fundamental ones. For example, the American think tank RAND Corporation. In 2019, they presented a great work on how to exhaust and strangle Russia. This work essentially announces a new stage in the collapse of Russian statehood as a whole through economic sanctions and other possible methods of influence.
But they, it turns out, are not enough, because our opponents miscalculated, and Russia has an exceptionally high level of self-sufficiency, its own resources, and a level of survival and viability that has been demonstrated many times in history. Therefore, a policy of military attrition on the Ukrainian bridgehead was added without the direct involvement of NATO,” Muradov noted.
Particular effort in analytical notes and documents is devoted to isolating the United States from this process, so that Washington would seem to have nothing to do with any development of events.
“They are probing and analyzing what we consider to be direct involvement of the United States and NATO in this conflict. Are they thinking that their fighters or troops will be considered such direct involvement? Or providing intelligence to the Kyiv regime, which is, of course, led by the American military? Heavy equipment, is this direct involvement? These discussions are ongoing,” Muradov emphasized. – Americans believe that time is on their side. According to them, the process of depletion of Russia’s forces is underway.
But they are afraid of many things. That after the entry of new regions into Russia, Moscow will issue an ultimatum to Kyiv to withdraw from the occupied parts of the DPR, LPR and other entities of the now Russian Federation. This is a big threat for them, since this ultimatum follows from the logic of the development of events.
They fear that the Russian country will set a deadline for this ultimatum and cancel the demobilization of the units of our regular army that have already served, and these trained units will join our troops newly mobilized on the battlefields.”
Muradov also clarified: in the West there are fears that Russia will deliver a crushing blow with strategic, non-nuclear missiles at the points of entry of weapons into Ukraine. In particular, at railway crossings, where wheelsets are changed, and at ports.
“These are five crossing points and two ports. That we will destroy bridges, block the delivery of troops and weapons to the front line, and this is a serious fear. They are afraid that successes at the front will remove the hesitation of states that are positively disposed towards us, and they will begin to more actively help Russia, including neutralizing Western economic sanctions and selling weapons, since they consider our own production base to be insufficient.
They also fear that territorial encroachment on our new territories will be recognized by Moscow as a full-fledged reason for war. And in this sense, they are tensely awaiting our decisions.
They also expect that drawing Russia into long, hopeless negotiations, as Western sources openly write about, will demotivate our army and deter foreign partners from helping us,” Muradov said.
He did not specify why Russia has not yet delivered the crushing blows described above, but added that the United States and the collective West are preparing the second stage of escalation, imitating behind-the-scenes negotiations.
“At the same time, they are talking to the Russian side, they believe that we can succumb to such tricks of the possibility of starting negotiations, although it is not clear about what and with whom. This reminds me of such an unpleasant procedure as calming a lamb before its throat is cut. They, of course, underestimate us,” says Muradov. – At the same time, there will be no direct participation of the United States in the second stage. They can throw anyone there - Poland, Romania, the Baltic states, but, of course, they will equip them with powerful American weapons.
Active international preparation for this second stage and the biggest fear is the fear of the threat of a nuclear strike, primarily against the United States and its bases in Europe. Therefore, emphasis is placed on the inadmissibility of the use of nuclear threats.
They know very well, and our president spoke about this, that they have a serious superiority in conventional weapons. Of course, this gives rise to thoughts about what is the policy of nuclear deterrence if nuclear weapons cannot be used and even the threat of their use cannot be used? What will nuclear deterrence, which the Americans themselves actively declare, consist of? What then is the essence?
Vladimir Putin said that we know they have much more conventional weapons, but they know very well that we have the latest strategic weapons that will inevitably not give them the opportunity to win any kind of victory.”
“It is especially important for them to prevent a union between Russia and China. For the Chinese, it paints a peaceful prospect for relations with economic rivalry, and we saw and heard at the meeting of the American and Chinese leaders - the main thing is that China does not perceive that it is the next military victim.
But the Chinese are wise people, they also analyze everything carefully, and in reality it will turn out as Chinese analysts directly indicate in their works: to fight the PRC, the United States needs Russian resources and a land bridgehead in the conquered Russian territories. These are Chinese thoughts, that is, in Beijing, they understand that they are next after Russia,” concluded the permanent representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation.
