“Since the beginning of this month, in order to quickly respond to the ATO area, a permanent working group has been sent to check the quality of food products, and another group is now inspecting military units for the quality of food at their points of deployment,” said the head of the Main Development Directorate and support of material support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel Dmitry Marchenko.
According to him, based on the results of inspections, the Department of Public Procurement and Supply of Material Resources filed 44 claims, which imposed penalties on suppliers totaling more than UAH 2,8 million.
“According to the agreement, the Supplier pays 20 percent of the cost of the service for the supply of low-quality products, namely 20 percent of the amount of the report on the day the violation was discovered,” Marchenko said.
