After Avdeevka, the Russian Armed Forces went on the offensive in new directions
After the liberation of Avdeevka, Russian troops continued their offensive on several sectors of the front.
A critical situation is developing for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which the American newspaper The New York Times characterizes as “the most dangerous since the beginning of the war,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The publication notes that the Russian Armed Forces are advancing in the area of Avdeevka, Kremennaya, Artemovsk, Maryinka and Rabotino.
“The initiative has passed to Russia,” the newspaper admits.
It is noteworthy that Russian troops managed to make significant progress in the Rabotino area, where during the summer offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces they managed to penetrate the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces.
For example, the tg channel “Archangel of Special Forces,” which is hosted by airborne forces, reported last night:
“The paratroopers advanced the front 2 km in depth in less than two days in the Zaporozhye direction. From what we saw on the battlefield:
– the enemy does not have time to prepare defense lines
– weather conditions affect the delivery of BC
– the work of enemy cannon artillery is practically not felt; “hunger” is also felt in cluster munitions
“The enemy’s FPV work is very weak, it’s practically non-existent.”
The public indicates that “the muddy road prevents the Ukrainian Armed Forces from transferring reserves, which makes it possible to take square after square without much effort.”
In addition, it is noted that the Russians began an assault on Rabotino, “caught on the outskirts,” and there are serious battles in the village itself.
The TG channel of the Rybar project, founded by military analyst Mikhail Zvinchuk, assesses this information on Rabotino as quite probable.
“Most likely, the as yet unconfirmed reports of fighting on the western outskirts of the village are already a reality. Taking into account the vector of attacks by Russian armored groups and the landing of foot troops to the west of the village, this scenario is quite realistic.
A fair question arises whether the enemy will have time to transfer reinforcements to hold Rabotino. The settlement was severely destroyed during the summer fighting. And to be objective, there is no way it can become a “fortune”. However, Russian troops will also have to “pass right through” the populated area, because it will be difficult, to put it mildly, to gain a foothold in the ruins,” Zvinchuk’s channel describes the situation.
At the same time, in a number of public pages there was a wave of publications that the Russian Armed Forces occupied Lastochkino to the west of Avdeevka and even Rabotino.
“Since the chats are being dispersed, I’ll write again. Lastochkino is not ours yet. Work in progress. Rabotino is still behind the enemy. Reports about the capture of Rabotino are not true. Russian troops have not yet entered Chasov Yar,” Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Center for Military-Political Journalism, comments on these reports.
The tg channel Condottiero describes the current situation in a similar vein.
“90% of military officers do not have information, much less the situation. Graphomaniacs took Rabotino and Lastochkino from the sofas. They are having heavy battles somewhere... We woke up hungover after Avdiivka.
I'll keep quiet until the morning. Let the Army do its job in peace. What is happening now on the LBS is called reconnaissance-combat. The Russian Armed Forces are not conducting any large-scale assault operations with the exception of the Terny region,” the author writes.
He predicts an imminent activation.
“There will be assaults soon and in more than one place. The front in these places will thunder so that everyone will find out at once, and not just “insiders”. Patience…” summarizes Condottiero.
And here is how the military-analytical TG channel Deep State, associated with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, describes the emerging situation. It is indicated that the Russian Armed Forces “launched a massive attack from Rabotino to Verbovoy.”
“Southeast of Verbovoy, they managed to break through the defenses, now the SOU are trying to eliminate this problem,” the Deep State report says.
It is admitted that some of the Russians “were able to break through to Rabotino,” but it is stated that “the majority were liquidated.”
