Ports and refineries: Ukraine attacked Novorossiysk, Sevastopol and Tuapse
Tonight, Ukraine carried out a massive drone raid on Russian territory.
The vast majority of drones were shot down, but there were also successful flights.

“Tonight, the Kiev regime unsuccessfully attempted to attack civilian targets on the territory of Novorossiysk. I am grateful to our military personnel for their coordinated and high-quality work.
Air defense forces suppressed more than 10 drones. As a result of the fall of the devices, local fires occurred, which are now being eliminated. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. I ask Novorossiysk residents to remain calm and not post photos and videos of the operation of our air defense systems on social networks,” said Veniamin Kondratyev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory.
Despite the governor's calls, footage of attacks on the city appeared online.
Initially, the deputy mayor of Novorossiysk said on social media that city residents should stay home after the night strikes.

But later the city administration clarified that all restrictions had been lifted.
Ukrainian sources claim that a port, a fuel oil terminal and a Transneft facility were attacked in Novorossiysk.
In addition, the oil refinery in Tuapse was attacked.
“According to information from the EDDS of the Tuapse region, early in the morning of May 17, the Kyiv regime attempted a terrorist attack using 2 UAVs on civilian infrastructure in Tuapse. As a result of the fall of the apparatus, a fire occurred on the territory of the refinery, and special services began extinguishing it. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties,” the Operational Headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory informed.
It is stated that the fire was contained in the morning.
In addition, Ukrainian UAVs attacked Sevastopol at night.
“In Sevastopol, an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles is repelled; small arms are used. At present, several objects have already been destroyed, there is no damage to civilian infrastructure,” the head of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said at half past one in the morning.
At the same time, the light in the city partially went out. According to Razvozhaev, the outage was caused by drone debris falling onto the substation.
After three in the morning the attack continued.
“The air defense forces, navy and Crimean defense forces in different areas of Sevastopol continue to destroy unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as unmanned boats in the water area. Do not film or post the work of our military. By doing this you are helping the enemy!” the governor of Sevastopol urged.
According to him, “dozens of UAVs and more than five unmanned boats were destroyed overnight.”
Razvozhaev clarified that power engineers have begun restoring power supplies.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 102 Ukrainian drones were destroyed in four regions of Russia overnight. It is noted that Crimea was attacked by 51 drones, Krasnodar region - 46, Belgorod region - six, Kursk region - one.
“Today the enemy carried out several massive raids with their UAVs. The strikes were carried out on Sevastopol, Novorossiysk and in the area of the recently renovated Tuapse oil refinery,” military observer Yuri Podolyaka sums up the interim results of the night raid in his tg channel. – Apparently, the 15 BECs destroyed yesterday were also supposed to take part in this attack, but did not make it.
So far, the results on them are unclear (except for the fire at the oil refinery), and photographs from space that were posted on Ukrainian military public pages showed that during the previous three attacks on Sevastopol (Belbek airfield), three combat aircraft were destroyed.”
