Poroshenko to Vovan and Lexus: There is nothing to defend yourself with - give the F-16
Russia has complete air superiority, and in order to finally balance its offensive potential, the United States needs to quickly launch the long-promised Lend-Lease to Ukraine.
Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko made this statement to Russian pranksters "Vovan" and "Lexus," who conducted a conversation with him on behalf of former US Ambassador to Russia and former National Security Advisor to the President of the United States Michael McFaul, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Russia has 10 times more artillery, Russia has 30 times more ammunition, and in aviation the Russians still have a significant superiority. And first of all, these are anti-aircraft missiles, including in the zone of our counter-offensive operation, and we need to do everything in our power to supply Ukraine with air defense systems, F-16 and A-10 aircraft, in order to at least balance the offensive Russia's potential. Because we now have nothing to protect our troops from air strikes. And for this we need to launch what we promised, the so-called Lend-Lease,” said the Ukrainian ex-president.
He also complained about the insufficiently effective anti-Russian sanctions.
“Another issue is sanctions. I think you are doing a great job, I remember our online meeting in parliament, but I am not happy with the results. Because we need to be more creative. We are convinced that sanctions should be extraterritorial in nature,” Poroshenko complained.
