Poroshenko is going to sue Kolomoisky's channel
Petro Poroshenko is suing oligarch Igor Kolomoisky's television channel 1+1 for "black PR" against him, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in today's statement by the chairman of the BPP faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Artur Gerasimov.

“During the five years of his presidency, with rare exceptions, Petro Poroshenko fundamentally refrained from any lawsuits against the media,” Gerasimov said.
However, according to him, in recent months the information policy of the 1+1 TV channel “has undergone significant changes.”
“We are talking about the 1+1 channel. The owner of this media did not pass the test of the fourth power, which comes from possessing such a powerful means of influencing the consciousness of Ukrainians. He could not resist the temptation of the crude full-scale use of this media resource in order to settle his scores with the state. “He turned the channel into a tool of dirty political technologies and black PR against one of the presidential candidates, namely Petro Poroshenko,” the report says.
“Petro Poroshenko decided to sue the 1+1 channel for systematic lies on an especially large scale, for disseminating gigantic amounts of disinformation that damage the honor and dignity of the presidential candidate and the president,” the statement says.
Earlier, journalist Alexander Dubinsky, live on 1+1, announced to the whole country the black accounting data of pre-election bribery schemes of Poroshenko’s headquarters.
