Poroshenko vs Kolomoisky: A new fight begins
The Jewish community of Ukraine finds itself in a difficult situation. Searches are coming in the largest synagogue in Eastern Europe in Dnepropetrovsk Minor. The religious building was erected with the decisive financial participation of oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, and part of the premises was used for his commercial interests. All this is happening within the framework of the confrontation between Igor Kolomoisky himself and the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Oleg Tsarev, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada who supported the rebels in Novorossiya, spoke about this in an interview with PolitNavigator.

According to him, Igor Kolomoisky is the only oligarch who came into money as a result of the coup in Ukraine. The only thing that doesn’t suit him is that he’s no longer earning new money. Despite leaving the territory of Ukraine, the influence of the oligarch is only growing, and everything that happens in the Dnepropetrovsk region is under his control.
The nationalization of Privat Bank, owned by Igor Kolomoisky, led to the state paying off the debts of this financial institution, and now the oligarch has filed a lawsuit, wanting to return the bank to his ownership.
“Kolomoisky has this trait: no matter what the war, he is always in the negotiation process,” said Oleg Tsarev. “Now he is talking with Poroshenko. He is trying to exchange his non-participation in the privatization of the Odessa port plant for the appointment of the governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region.”
Today, Igor Kolomoisky is promoting the Nazi Yuri Bereza, who swore allegiance to him, to the post of governor of Dnepropetrovsk. At the same time, according to Ukrainian tradition, everyone swears allegiance to everyone and waits for the right moment to betray.
In general, Poroshenko’s interests are in preserving the assets seized after the coup. And these interests completely contradict the interests of Igor Kolomoisky.
