At a meeting with Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Ukrainian president called Kazakhstan a “reliable partner” and thanked his colleague that “Ukrainians feel at home in Kazakhstan.”
Poroshenko’s press service makes it clear that in Astana the president is looking for opportunities to “strengthen trade and economic cooperation.”
From January 1, Ukraine, in accordance with the association agreement with the EU, launches the so-called. free trade zone with the European Union.
At the same time, Kyiv will lose its preference regime on the Russian market, and Moscow will cancel its duty-free trade regime with Kiev.
