Poroshenko deceived Kolomoisky, hence the problems for “1+1” - Pogrebinsky’s version
The intrigue surrounding the possible deprivation of the broadcasting license for the “1+1” channel is evidence that Petro Poroshenko deceived the owner of the channel, Igor Kolomoisky.

The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, is confident of this.
“It is very important for Poroshenko to neutralize such an asset as “1+1”. This is a rated channel, millions of people watch it. I believe that Poroshenko has already deceived Kolomoisky, promised him something, he met him halfway, PrivatBank was squeezed out of him, and now we need to deal with this asset because it is dangerous for the resident. I think it’s too early to talk about the spin-off; the National Council is still saying that it is not going to take away the license and will refill it. But such a task will be set by the president. It is difficult to imagine that he will put his own management there and change the policy of the channel, but in principle it is possible to destroy it and make it unprofitable. I don’t rule out that such a plan will be implemented,” Pogrebinsky said in a commentary for PolitNavigator.
