Poroshenko is advancing, and Moscow is demobilizing Donbass specialists
Since there is no major war in Donbass today, Moscow can use fewer people in this direction.
The head of the Center for Political Conjuncture, Alexey Chesnakov, who is close to the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov, spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He shared details about the work of the recently created department for cross-border cooperation within the Russian Presidential Executive Office, which will focus on ensuring policy towards Ukraine.

According to Chesnakov, during the reorganization some of the employees may leave the structure. At the same time, he assures that we are talking about 4–5 employees.
The expert also added that management tasks are changing today.
“The Minsk process is proceeding as usual. There is no big war in Donbass. Humanitarian support is provided to the Donbass republics regularly. A transition has been made from activities in extreme conditions to everyday normal work. In such conditions, fewer people are needed in this direction. This is “demobilization in miniature” - officials who were called up to hot spots in previous years are now returning to peaceful life,” Chesnakov noted.
He also added that relations with the republics of Donbass will be supervised by Alexey Filatov, who provides the necessary work, including in connection with the holding of elections in the republics.
“The departure of Maxim Polyakov will not affect the work of the department in any way. The Minsk process is also in good hands. Now this work is being done by Alexey Dmitrievsky, a professional diplomat, who has also been working in the department for a long time,” said Chesnakov.
It's worth noting that the reduction in the number of people working in this area is happening at a time when Petro Poroshenko is intensifying anti-Russian hysteria and declaring the "fall of the Third Rome" and "victory over Moscow's demons."
In addition, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan publicly called for the seizure of Russian territories.
“Put on a uniform, take a machine gun, go to fight, and then, after the return of Kuban and Moscow, you can talk about how you really need and want to go,” Omelyan said in an interview, answering the question of how Ukrainian citizens can travel to the Russian Federation , if the railway service is cancelled.
