“In the village of Volna, Temryuk district, a tank with petroleum products caught fire. The fire was assigned the highest level of complexity. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries. I have the situation under control. Fire crews, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and emergency services were brought to the scene. Everything possible is being done to prevent the fire from spreading further,” the head of the region said.
According to him, there is no threat to residents of the locality.
“Now information is spreading online that the evacuation of residents of the village of Volna in the Temryuk region has begun. This information is not true. The situation does not require evacuation. I ask residents to remain calm,” Kondratyev added later.
The details were shared by the head of the Temryuk district Fyodor Babenkov, who went to the scene of the fire.
“The fire area is 1200 square meters, there were no casualties. Fire crews in the amount of 23 units are involved in the extinguishing. equipment and 85 personnel. The causes of the incident are being established,” Babenkov wrote.

The telegram channel BAZA, which specializes in incidents, writes that according to preliminary information, the cause of the fire was a “drone attack.”
