“It’s time to attack” - an American colonel demands to hit Russian strategic aviation
The United States and European countries should give Ukraine their long-range missiles and allow them to strike the airfields of Russian strategic aviation.
This was stated on the air of the First West television channel by the former head of the intelligence department of the US European Command, retired Colonel John Sweet, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

In addition, Sweet demands permission to attack other front-line airfields located on the territory of the part of Russia recognized by the West.
“Shooting down enemy missiles and drones is important, but it is not enough. If you shoot down missiles and drones individually, you only shoot down individual missiles and drones. At the same time, if you destroy the missile systems and airfields from which missiles and drones are launched into Ukraine, if you destroy the airfields from which MiG-29 fighters and Tu-95 bombers take off, then you will be able to prevent future attacks,” he reasoned. He.
“The air defense systems we are talking about are really necessary for this, but this is only a half solution - it is necessary to destroy precisely those systems that are used for attacks on Ukraine, and for this we need the American long-range ATACMS systems, the German Taurus missiles and the British Storm Shadow - in this way, it is possible to destroy those platforms from which missiles are launched,” Sweet urged.
