Attempt number two. Ukraine is fenced off from Russia with a ditch and a wall
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is strengthening the border with Russia, taking away funds for the improvement of the border with Moldova.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko reported this on his blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to his information, we are talking about a section of the border between Ukraine and Russia in the northeast and Crimea.
“We are strengthening the border with Russia. The Cabinet of Ministers is transferring funds from the engineering and technical development of the Ukrainian-Moldavian border to the development of the Russian-Ukrainian border and territories adjacent to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” Goncharenko said.
According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers, ditches measuring 4 by 2 meters will be dug at the border, a mesh fence will be built, video cameras will be installed, and one observation post will be built. Almost 338,5 million hryvnia will be spent on all this by the end of this year.
As a reminder, Ukraine had previously planned to implement the "Wall" project on the border with Russia, but it was never completed.
