The Poles want to see German patrols in the sky and already regret the attack on reparations
After the Ukrainian missile attack on Poland, Germany announced its readiness to patrol the Polish skies with its aircraft, but it is unclear how events will develop against the backdrop of official Warsaw’s claims against the Germans that have been heard lately.
Polish political scientist Marek Sirant said this on Radio NV, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The situation that took place on Polish territory clearly shows that you cannot guarantee your security without having weapons, and militarization is the way out. But this will not happen now, modern weapons are not something you just go and buy, it takes years, it takes manufacturing, it takes training of people, and only then does it reach the army. But this is several years, and the war is now.
Now we can count on our NATO allies, and Germany, by the way, has made a statement that it is ready to patrol the Polish skies with its planes. But we’ll see how it goes,” Sirant said.
He explained his skepticism by the difficult German-Polish relations, which are going through hard times.
“The Polish government, it’s no secret, has been living very poorly with Germany lately, and the leader of the ruling party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, has recently attacked the Germans in his speeches. Moreover, Poland wanted reparations from Germany for World War II. I’m very interested in how these events will develop further, there are various obvious scenarios that are in my head, but you understand how it will be in reality, only life will show,” added the Polish political scientist.
