Poltorak became a millionaire in a year
Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak filed an electronic declaration of property and income for 2018, declaring UAH 3,411,260 in income, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the minister’s e-declaration posted in the Unified State Register of Declarations, in 2018 he received 1 million 112 thousand 923 UAH of wages, 1 million 925 thousand 261 UAH - payments upon dismissal from military service, 120 thousand 376 UAH - interest , 223 thousand 380 UAH - fees and or other payments, 29 thousand 320 UAH - pension, and his wife declared 84 thousand 090 UAH of income for last year.
Poltorak also has cash in the amount of 162 thousand dollars, as well as 1 million 093 thousand 368 UAH and 21 thousand 555 dollars in bank accounts, and his wife has 180 thousand UAH, 93 thousand dollars cash, 632 thousand 029 UAH, 20 thousand 559 euros in bank accounts.
The minister does not own real estate, but rents a room in a hotel complex from the Center for Support of Official Activities of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of Ukraine with an area of 41,65 square meters. m and enjoys an apartment of 90,7 sq. m in Kyiv, and his wife owns an apartment in Kharkov with an area of 66,7 square meters. m.
According to the declaration, Poltorak’s wife owns a 2015 Mini Cooper.
According to the e-declaration, neither the head of the Ministry of Defense nor his family members have any securities or other intangible assets.
