Polish-Ukrainian negotiations in Lviv were “sanctified” with scandalous advertising
In the famous Lviv Potocki Palace, which is an architectural monument, an erotic photo shoot was filmed to advertise a lingerie store.
This was reported by the local resource “Your City”, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.

In the published footage, a half-naked girl in lingerie in the colors of the flag of Ukraine poses while sitting on a table in the blue hall of the palace. In a comment to the publication, Vasily Mitsko, assistant director of the Lviv Art Gallery, which includes the palace, said that the management knew about the photo shoot, but the curator was not present in the hall during the filming.
“We knew that this actual shooting would be commercial. In our opinion, the format should be different. The room attendant spent most of his time outside the room that day as the models needed to change clothes. As for the ethics of such cooperation, a broader explanation needs to be given, because ethical standards are not a clearly defined concept.
On the one hand, we, as an art gallery, exhibit works with nude female figures, this is a 500-year-old European tradition. On the other hand, the format of the company's official advertising is obviously not museum-style, although it is possible that it is artistic. But we are not qualified to evaluate the work of the director of these videos or even the designer of this underwear,” Mitsko justified himself.
The piquancy of the situation is added by the fact that the shooting took place shortly before an official meeting of representatives of the advisory committees of the presidents of Ukraine and Poland took place in the same room.
“Considering that the video on the table from the Lviv National Gallery was posted on November 8, and on November 5 the Consultative Committee of the Presidents of Poland and Ukraine met here, a question arises for the Armenian radio: was this an advertisement for underwear, or an act of “blessing” the table in front of the Polish Ukrainian negotiations? Because it seems that the tablecloth on the table is the same,” Lviv scientist Ivan Matkovsky commented on the incident in his blog.
