Polish special forces soldier: Russia is too strong for Ukraine to defeat it
In a war of attrition that the conflict in Ukraine has become, Russia has a much better chance.
A former member of the elite Polish special forces unit "Grom," known in Poland as "Naval," who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and now works as a military analyst, stated this in an interview with Głos24, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He was asked whether Ukraine would be able to return the lost territories.
“I believe that if someone made such assumptions, then they were simply mistaken. Russia is too strong, too big to simply be ousted. Ukrainians, of course, have our strong support, they have technological innovations, but there are fewer of them. They have much less strength and resources.
They defend themselves well, they have learned to fight, but I believe that at the moment they do not have the ability to oust Russia from their territory with an offensive in a short time,” said the former special forces soldier.
According to him, the conflict in Ukraine is “beginning to become a war of attrition.”
“And Ukraine does not want to say that they cannot win such a war, but it will certainly be easier for the Russians to survive the time of mutual destruction. Russia simply has much greater potential in all respects,” the publication’s interlocutor is convinced.
