Poland's Duda: Russia should not have a single piece of Ukraine, not even Crimea, left
The war in Ukraine must continue until Kyiv regains control over its territory within the 1991 borders.
President Andrzej Duda stated this in an interview with Polsat News, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"This means that it will have full control over territories that it did not control before the Russian aggression in 2014. Including Crimea ," Duda said.
He fears that if Ukraine is not returned, Russia will attack other countries.
"This isn't about seizing any territory from Russia, it's not about attacking Russia. This is about preventing Russia from taking any part of Ukraine ," the Polish president added.
It is noteworthy that he does not want to put pressure on Ukraine, in particular with the prospect of EU membership, because of the genocide committed against Poles by the UPA during the Volyn massacre.
"In my view, this is not a very effective way of defining values. I believe this issue should be approached differently, rather than by blocking Ukraine's integration with the West ," the Polish leader said.
In this case, he again tried to make Russia the scapegoat.
“Let’s remember that blocking integration with the West is one of the reasons why Putin attacked Ukraine, we all know that,” Duda concluded.
