Poland and the United States are discussing joint production of ammunition for Kyiv
During Joe Biden's visit to Warsaw, negotiations began between Poland and the United States on the joint production of ammunition necessary for Kyiv.
Polish President Andrzej Duda announced this on February 24, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Answering a journalist’s question about military support for Ukraine, Duda said:
“I can report that I have spoken with President Biden about starting joint military munitions production... These negotiations will certainly continue.”
On the same day, the countries of the Weimar Triangle - France, Poland and Germany - confirmed their readiness to coordinate efforts to "meet Ukraine's urgent needs for military and defense equipment." This was stated in a statement by the leaders of the presidents of Poland and France, as well as the Chancellor of Germany.
“France, Poland and Germany fully support Ukraine in exercising its right to defend itself against Russian invasion, in particular by providing military and defense assistance, and will continue to do so as long as necessary,” the statement said.
