Political scientist: Yatsenyuk and Poroshenko must admit that they screwed up
Kyiv, September 08 (PolitNavigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – The blame for the war in Ukraine lies with Petro Poroshenko and Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who initially rejected any compromises with the South-East.
This was stated by political scientist Sergei Mikheev on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

“The Ukrainian leadership is hostage to the psychosis that they themselves created. Look - they are bankrupt, completely, 100% bankrupt! How did they manage to turn Ukraine into a disaster area in 3-4 months? If they now refuse to wage war, say that they have lost, they will simply be thrown out. They are hostages of their own rhetoric, which they have taken to such an extent that there is no turning back. They burned out a field for retreat. There is simply no room for maneuver!
They talk about federalization, but for this they need to change the constitution. But neither the current composition of parliament nor the future one wants and will not change it. It's just fiction. Which means war. Otherwise, Yatsenyuk, Poroshenko, and all these people will have to say – we just screwed up. Everything we said was not true, and now we have to leave,” the political scientist is indignant.
