Political scientist: Ukrainian authorities are already completely inadequate (VIDEO)

Kyiv, February 09 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The current Ukrainian government poses a threat to the national security of Ukraine.

Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, expressed this opinion at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, in response to journalists' questions about whether the SBU's activities are really connected to a threat to the country's national security, rather than to the agency's PR.

“It is obvious that there is a threat to state security,” says the political scientist. “It exists in the person of our leaders, who threaten our security. The situation is that they themselves behave inappropriately, and they push different actors to do so. And the activity of the SBU is not connected with concern for state security, but with their places where they sit, because they may end up in completely different places if they lose complete control over the activity of people with weapons.”
