Maidan field commander: Zelensky is not turning in the Russian direction
Vladimir Zelensky is repeating the trick of his predecessor Leonid Kuchma, who was elected to his first term thanks to the votes of residents of the South-East, and then, having deceived his voters, began to position himself as a pro-Western politician, focusing, accordingly, on the electorate of Western Ukraine.
Lviv politician and field commander of the 2004 Maidan, Taras Stetskiv, stated this on the NTA television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The dynamics of his turnaround are obvious to me. It turns not in the Russian direction. He turns closer to here. Maybe it will get stuck in the middle, maybe it will fail, but so far sociology only confirms that the reversal is coming here, I said this in your studio in January of this year, when the first signal was given. The question now is whether this dynamic will establish itself as a course, as a conscious politician – it is not yet clear,” Stetskiv said.
Earlier, Nikita Poturaev, one of the ideologists of the Servant of the People party and a member of the presidential faction, boasted that Zelensky had managed to win the sympathy of nationalists and transform himself into a fighter against all things Russian.
