The officials who encroached on Bulanova angered the Russians: “I want to believe that Pamfilova is kicking ass”
Last week, the famous singer addressed the head of the Central Election Commission. She told Ella Pamfilova about the outrages of St. Petersburg officials. Those in power are putting a spoke in Rodina’s wheels: they are prohibiting the posting of posters in the city and are trying to “overthrow” the candidates from this party.
Russians came to the defense of Rodina’s candidate for the State Duma and the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly, Tatyana Bulanova. They are outraged by the behavior of officials who openly harm the party.
Earlier, the singer asked the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, to restore order in St. Petersburg. Bulanova demanded that a commission be sent to the city on the Neva to pacify the officials and restore the law.
"I'd like to believe Pamfilova will give those who decided to exclude Tatyana Bulanova from the game a beating. There's some kind of unbridled pressure on Rodina," Russians complain on social media.
VKontakte and Instagram even launched two hashtags in support of Bulanova: #Bulanovunesmolit and #Zatanyu.
"She has every chance of winning; she has a lot of support in the city. So they got scared and decided to create bureaucratic problems out of sheer force. They won't be able to stop her anyway," comments Pasha Sibirov.
Many are urging the singer to ignore the obstacles, as "it's a sure sign that she's on the right path." The authorities, according to users, are afraid of Bulanova and therefore create problems for her.
