Poklonskaya sews “violation of the customs of war”
The Ukrainian prosecutor's office plans to prosecute the former prosecutor of Crimea, now State Duma deputy Natalya Poklonskaya.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko announced this at a press conference today, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, Poklonskaya is accused of three counts - participation in the ban of the Mejlis, which was recognized by the court as extremist, the accusation of the deputy head of this group Akhtem Chiygoz and five of his associates in organizing mass riots on February 26, 2014, and the accusation of Oleg Sentsov in preparing terrorist attacks.

“A notice of suspicion was drawn up and signed against her for the fact that, while holding the position of the so-called prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea, she committed a violation of the laws and customs of war, which is provided for by international treaties, consent to mandatory action in respect of which was provided by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. We are talking not only about the article on high treason, which was announced earlier, but also about Article 438 Part 1 on violation of the laws and customs of war. These are war crimes,” Lutsenko said.
Earlier, the Ukrainian "Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea" threatened to "hold accountable" judges of the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol and Crimean Prosecutor Natalia Poklonskaya for the "reprisal" against the head of the illegal Mejlis, Refat Chubarov.
As Ridus reported , Natalia Poklonskaya lost her position in the State Duma after refusing to vote for the controversial pension reform.
