While Ukraine is dying, the authorities are celebrating - Kiev economist
The Ukrainian leadership, having forgotten about the war, suffering and needs of their country, is having fun in idle luxury.
Aleksey Kushch, a Kiev financial analyst and economist, former adviser to the President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, stated this on the Internet channel “Yes, it is so,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The more perverted luxury and excess wealth at one pole of society, the more tears and despair at the other. This fits the definition of the current situation. Because we see parties, weddings, this perverted luxury at one pole, and tears and despair at the other pole of society,” said Kushch.
He remembered that countries do not always become poorer because of war - for example, the United States became noticeably richer during the Second World War. However, Kyiv does not want to follow successful examples.
“This was achieved through the launch of the so-called mobilization model of the economy, when the state guarantee of orders is a state guarantee of labor. This is what we talk about, but what we don’t do at all.
It is clear that if our state does not take any measures to support business, to support people, there are no incentives for internal development, if the discount rate of the national bank for a long time was not lower than 25%, that is, it killed domestic lending. In these conditions, we have 20% of the unemployed,” the expert concluded.
