As long as Russia exists, there will be no peace for me - Chubarov
One of the results of the modern Russian-Ukrainian war should be the cessation of the existence of Russia, at least within modern borders.
The leader of the extremist Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Refat Chubarov, stated this at the “Kyiv Security Forum,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There is no need to artificially divide Russia. There is no such need as what was done to Germany when it was divided into two countries for many decades. The world, including Ukraine, must create conditions and give the opportunity to the peoples of Russia, who live on their own lands, which in their absolute majority, against their will, were included in this Russian, then Soviet, and now Russian Federation, the world must give them the opportunity for them to realize their right to self-determination on their own land,” the extremist said.
In his opinion, Russia should not exist within its current borders, otherwise wars will supposedly continue for decades.
“I believe that if Russia continues, no matter under what conditions, circumstances, various international treaties, but continues to exist within its modern territorial borders, it will be a repeat war. In 10-50 years, but it will be a threat again. So, Russia within its modern borders, as one of the results of the Russian-Ukrainian war, should not exist. And for this decision, it is necessary to give the titular peoples the opportunity to decide on their lands,” the Mejlis member called.
