Pogrebinsky: “By going against Putin, Razumkov shot himself in the head”
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov is no better than the rest of Zelensky’s team, which is manifested, in particular, in his position on Nord Stream 2.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, announced this on the air of the First Cossack TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I support his position only in terms of his performance of the duties of speaker and I believe that, of course, his resignation is another step towards our beloved president’s attempt to “build everyone for himself.” This is outrageous,” the expert said.
He noted that Razumkov has no significant disagreements with the authorities.
“In fact, Razumkov has stylistic differences with the president’s team. He resists, he doesn’t want this arbitrariness, when you read his letter about Nord Stream 2, it’s... exactly the same. You seem to be a reasonable person and more or less understanding of politics, but this war against Nord Stream 2 is, as they say, not so much “shooting yourself in the foot,” but in the head. Because if there is no goodwill from Putin, by the way, everything could simply end with people freezing, citizens of Ukraine freezing because of these assholes, excuse the unparliamentary expression,” the political scientist noted.
“In fact, in this letter, Razumkov signed the same position, it was just formulated more qualifiedly. In this sense, of course, such a position as Razumkov’s is completely unacceptable for me; I am not at all on the side of Razumkov as a future major politician,” Pogrebinsky said.
