“Lending a shoulder to the transition period” – Kherson region is strengthened by Russian personnel
As part of the integration of the Kherson region into the state space of Russia and into the Russian paradigm of public administration, a new government was formed in the Kherson region.
This was announced by the head of the Higher Administration of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He emphasized that “the best personnel not only among the residents of the Kherson region, but also among Russian professionals and managers” were selected for the new government of the Kherson region. According to Saldo, when preparing the composition, the experience of building government structures in the regions of the Russian Federation was taken into account:
“The chairman of the government of the Kherson region became Sergey Eliseev, who previously held the position of first deputy chairman of the government of the Kaliningrad region;
Vladimir Bespalov was appointed deputy chairman of the government of the Kherson region for internal policy, previously first deputy minister for municipal development and internal policy of the Kaliningrad region;
The Ministry of Education and Science was headed by Mikhail Rodikov, previously deputy head of the administration of the Kashira urban district of the Moscow region. Mikhail Leonidovich previously, from 2015 to 2018, adapted the educational system of Sevastopol to Russian realities and coped with it brilliantly.”
At the same time, Alexey Kovalev, formerly a deputy of the Servant of the People, became the deputy chairman of the government of the Kherson region on agricultural issues.
"I am pleased to welcome natives of the Kherson region and experienced Ukrainian politicians returning home to Kherson, home to Russia ," Volodymyr Saldo commented separately on this appointment.
The formation of the government of the Kherson region was criticized by Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov.
“You (Russians – ed.) appointed a government in the Kherson region today. The First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Russian Federation, Mr. Kiriyenko, arrived and the appointment took place. I respected the people you appointed; they are often citizens of the Russian Federation and work in the executive bodies of the Russian Federation. Tell me please, what is it called? Is it you, Russia, who occupied the Kherson region and are placing your people and your government there?” – Vakarov was indignant on the air of the TV channel “Russia 1”.
"This is called knowing the risk that the lives of people who currently occupy high positions in the liberated territories are exposed to ," TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov countered the Ukrainian.
“There was exactly the same policy in 39,” shouted Vakarov.
"The Soviet government never used Bandera-style methods, but Zelenskyy is calling for the killing of people, for terrorist attacks. My response is that several people, Ukrainians, have already been killed in terrorist attacks in the Kherson region. That's why Russians are coming to the rescue, risking their lives, for the transition period ," the TV host explained.
