Near Kiev, the police had to disarm the next “eagles”
In the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district, on the territory of the Orly car club near the village of Belogorodka, law enforcement officers seized an arsenal of weapons from the cars of local residents.

On the territory of the Eagles car club, law enforcement officers stopped two cars for inspection: a Citroen C-5 and a Kia Magentis. The driver was a 40-year-old resident of Boyarka and a 29-year-old resident of Vishnevoy; they were carrying with them two RGD-5 grenades, an RPG-26 rocket-propelled anti-tank grenade, components of the RKG-3M and TG-45 grenades and fuses for them.
After law enforcement officers searched the apartments of “car enthusiasts,” a Kalashnikov assault rifle, an F-1 grenade, a signal flare and 7,62 caliber cartridges were added to the items seized. The men explained that they brought ammunition from the ATO zone and stored it on the territory of the car club.
The discovered arsenal was seized and sent for examination. The suspects were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
Based on this fact, the investigative department of the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky regional police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article is three to seven years in prison.
