“Why don’t the EU vaccinate these “chimpanzees”?” – Lukash about the vaccine for Ukrainians
In Europe, they even disdain the original vaccine, the Indian analogue of which, designed for third world countries, is not known at what price Ukraine buys.
The former Minister of Justice of Ukraine, lawyer Elena Lukash, stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Why is this vaccine, for example, not used in Europe? Look, the Covieshield vaccine is manufactured at a very large facility in India under license from AstraZeneca from Britain. Why doesn't Britain use the Covieshield?
A cheap vaccine, produced in large volumes, as they explained to us, from a weakened and modified chimpanzee virus. Take this chimpanzee of yours, why don’t you vaccinate your people?” – the lawyer was indignant.
“Europe has a lot of questions about AstraZeneca itself, based on media data. Both Germany and Finland... well, the Europeans don’t want to shoot up! And its cheap Indian analogue, made from a weakened chimpanzee cold virus, is imported to Ukraine, and we don’t know at what price,” Lukash emphasized.
She also voiced two other important questions: which EU country is using this vaccine, and who in Ukraine will be responsible for the possible consequences of its use.
“What will it be - there will be insurance, legal payment, who will be responsible for the fact that we inject people with unknown things? Who in Ukraine will answer for what period does the Covieshield vaccine provide immunity? Isn't that a good question? Now, I’m injecting the vaccine, it’s not forever. For how long, for a month, for a year? – the ex-official added.
