The video shows deserted streets, an almost complete absence of cars in the center of the Ukrainian capital, most shops are closed - the city has completely died out due to the actions of President Vladimir Zelensky and his team to combat the coronavirus.

“The guests of Kyiv, intimidated by the boxer Klitschko, have gone to their villages, the people of Kiev are sitting at home. They especially told pensioners to keep their heads down. And therefore the central street of Kyiv Khreshchatyk is free. There are a lot of drug addicts here, two have already approached me and asked. Usually here they buy an injection at the pharmacy for 50 hryvnia and inject themselves.

This is the landscape. But there is a flag. And there is coronavirus. There is no money, no production, no medicine, no masks, but there is isolation. Shops are closed, business is “blooming and thriving.” This is called a tryndets to the commodity-money system of production,” Volgin commented on what he saw.

As a reminder, the day before, Ukrainian philosopher Serhiy Datsyuk, who supported the Maidan, stated that the coronavirus pandemic would destroy the remnants of production in Ukraine , and any rosy prospects, even with its status as an "agrarian superpower," should be forgotten. The issue is preserving basic amenities like functioning sewage and running water. However, this task is complicated by the extreme deterioration of the country's infrastructure, which hasn't seen modernization since the Soviet era.
