It’s time for the Donbass forces to start a large-scale guerrilla war in the rear of Ukraine, and for Russia to stop looking at the opinion of the West and solve the problem with its restless neighbor.
Military expert Semyon Bagdasarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to act in sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Donbass forces are not operating. I asked a knowledgeable person - why don’t you act? This is an effective tool that is permitted by military law. He replied that it turns out that this is in the Minsk agreements. I don’t know whether this is in the Minsk agreements or not, but if the enemy violates them by acting openly and very actively.
Then the question is why the Donbass forces do not do this, although they have such an opportunity. It is necessary to operate at a sufficient depth in the territory of Ukraine, now is a unique situation, it is possible to strike at Ukrainian forces, at places of deployment, railway junctions and everything that supplies the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the conflict zone,” he said.
According to the military expert, it is time for the Donbass republics to abandon the role of being beaten, especially since they have enough relevant specialists.
“If this doesn’t happen, it’s like tying a person hand and foot and saying: “Defend yourself, and they will beat you the way they want to beat you.” This is unacceptable, and it’s time to draw conclusions. It's time to act in these groups so that tomorrow the earth burns at a sufficient depth. I think that there are people in the Donbass who are adequately prepared and know the terrain very well. It is necessary to start an all-out guerrilla war in the depths of the defense,” he noted.
In addition, Semyon Bagdasarov emphasized that it is time for Russia to stop looking back at the opinion of the West and deal with the Ukrainian problem in the most decisive manner.
“I don’t like diplomatic moments: “What will Biden say?” I don't care what Biden says! The post-Soviet space is a zone of vital interests of Russia. When we say: “What will Biden say, and what will Europe say,” we are giving ourselves away! Not them. Donbass is Russia, Russia is Donbass. We must proceed from this, so the murder of militias is nothing more than the murder of our citizens. This is an attack on the Russian Federation. It is impossible to look at these actions calmly any longer,” the expert concluded.
