“Men were crying” Nephew of Muslim Magomayev about his performance in the Northern Military District zone
Singer and composer Yura Magomayev , nephew of People's Artist of the USSR Muslim Magomayev, tours the SVO zone . Crimean entrepreneurs helped him organize the performances and, at the same time, collect humanitarian aid for the front lines , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“On our part, this is undoubtedly charity , this is a mission to support the fighters , to support the fighting spirit of the guys and not only the guys – there are also women, by the way , who greet us with all their hearts, not only feeding us delicious food, but also loudly applauding.
One of my longtime friends , Misha Vidyakin, the head of the First Crimean Creamery , is currently undertaking a significant amount of financial and humanitarian aid. Together with Vitya Vidyakin and Vlad Martyanov—they're incredible friends of mine— they simply called one day and said, "Yur, we want to organize something for May 9th." We immediately found a way to contact Roman Shantayev, the head of the Krasnogvardeisky District , and he put us in touch with the volunteer group "Svoya Pomosh" (Your Own Help). They helped us with equipment ," the singer said.
Magomayev is expected back on the front lines soon . And not just him – with the help of friends and volunteers, he's carrying a large humanitarian aid shipment, mostly medical supplies.
"I'm generally used to seeing girls cry at my concerts . But to see men cry was something more for me . I felt both the pain and the need for myself as an artist . Because the soldiers are at least briefly distracted from the daily work they do. At least for these 40 minutes, they find peace, remember their families, even feel a little bit like they're under a peaceful sky , remembering their carefree life before the front," the artist noted.
