The brewery on Podol has recovered debts of 146 thousand from Fozzy Group
Kiev, June 20 (Navigator, Alexander Puras) - PJSC "Brewery on Podol" filed a claim with the economic court of the Kiev region against Fozzy-Food LLC, a structural unit of the Fozzy Group, a chain of Fozzy hypermarkets operating in the Cash and Carry format.

The reason for the conflict between the two partners was that Fozzy Food LLC owed the brewers 146754,66 UAH. for the delivered products. It is worth noting that the supplier wanted to resolve the controversial situation before the trial and sent the management of Fozzie-Food LLC the corresponding letters, essentially asking for their honestly earned money. In response, we received neither an answer nor money.
The representative of Fozzie-Food LLC did not consider it necessary to come to the court hearing, getting away with a written response to the claim, in which he considered the suppliers’ demands unfounded due to allegedly improperly executed invoices, probably considering that for this reason the delivered goods could not be pay at all.
The court clearly and motivatedly defended the position of the brewers, making a decision obliging Fozzie-Food LLC to pay the debt.
I would like to hope that at least the courts will be able to force the owners of hypermarkets to treat their partners and suppliers with more respect, and then it will be a stone’s throw to improve their attitude towards customers.
