Peremoga from Parubiy: Scotland recognized the Holodomor as “genocide”

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy, while on an official visit to the UK, during a meeting with the Speaker of the Scottish Parliament Ken Mackintosh, noted the results of the debate in the Scottish Parliament on the Holodomor, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“This year is the 85th anniversary of this great tragedy, and it is important for us to understand the peace of this event, this tragedy for Ukraine. It is especially important for us that all parties – both opposition and coalition – supported the general resolution that the Holodomor is genocide against Ukrainians,” the press service quotes Parubiy.
