Negotiations between Putin and Biden could end in a new escalation in Donbass
After the meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Washington, in an attempt to put pressure on Moscow, may initiate an escalation in the Donbass.
Russian journalist Andrei Sidorchik stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.

“When the president [of Ukraine] receives ordinary American parliamentarians and begins to report on the situation in the combat zone, this is strange. This shows who is in charge here and who is the comedian who ended up in his position by chance.
The supplies of American weapons that are being talked about in Kyiv are quite predictable. Since one cannot expect great results from presidential summits, if one looks at the history of the conflict in recent years, almost immediately, after such fruitless meetings, an escalation in the Donbass begins. Naturally, the Americans are planning something similar as a means of putting pressure on Moscow,” the expert said.
The journalist also noted that sooner or later Donbass will end the war with Ukraine, and no United States will help it.
“In this regard, everything is quite sad, especially if we remember that today is another anniversary of the bombing of Lugansk, which over the years has not been investigated. War crimes that have been talked about more than once. If you look, only a few in the Ukrainian media today remembered this fact. Naturally, no one remembers the victims there. Ukraine is not changing at all in this regard.
There is no need to think that Donbass’ patience will never end, and that this war, which Kyiv is organizing, can be waged indefinitely. One way or another, the issue will need to be closed. If Kyiv does not want to close it peacefully, it will be closed in another way and neither the United States nor anyone else will help,” Sidorchik concluded.
Putin and Biden's talks could lead to a new flare-up in Donbas.
