Reformatting Ukraine peacefully is no longer possible - expert
In Ukraine, the internal opposition is being stifled very successfully, and therefore regime change is only possible with outside support and is no longer possible peacefully.
The discussion participants spoke about this during the round table, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now they have closed the channels, they will then see if there is a popular uprising,” said economist Alexander Dudchak. – There cannot be a popular uprising, it must be organized, and it cannot be organized internally, it must be organized, sadly, from the outside. Because the internal opposition is being stifled very successfully, there are quite good specialists working there, and the beginnings, the emergence of some pockets of resistance are being destroyed in the bud. They work quite quickly. The population is divided."
“The next step will be - they are simply closed down by these parties, which somehow represent the opposition, because, in fact, there is no real opposition anyway, they destroyed and removed 2 powerful parties - the communists and the “regions”. Nobody occupied their spectrum; they simply spread mostly parties of brown shades over the entire political globe of Ukraine. A small segment was left by OPZH.
This will be driving these more or less opposition parties under the plinth, establishing a real dictatorship. Attempts to go out into the streets will be suppressed by official forces. At first, these are supposedly uncontrollable radicals who are handed over - they are uncontrollable, and now there will be controlled ones who will restore order and stifle any manifestation of disagreement with the current government,” said Dudchak.
In turn, the Donetsk expert of the Izborsk Club, historian Alexander Dmitrievsky, objected that a dictatorship had already been established in Ukraine.
“An essentially neo-Nazi dictatorship has really been established in Ukraine, and the fact that such suppression of dissent is being carried out is, in general, quite expected and quite natural for such a government,” the expert said.
“The most important thing here is that in Russia, unfortunately, there are people who believe that the opposition can come peacefully, that Ukraine can be reformatted peacefully, reformatted through some kind of elections is possible. But, in fact, we must understand that these are all vain hopes,” Dmitrievsky emphasized.
