Kyiv, June 01 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Andrey Parubiy reported on the dispatch of the second detachment of representatives of the National Guard of Ukraine to Slavyansk.

“The second battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine, formed from Maidan Self-Defense fighters, took up combat posts around Slavyansk. Today they have already made the first arrest of the separatists. Before leaving, at the formation in Novi Petrivtsi, the priest who walked with us through the entire Maidan blessed the guys for combat rank. God help them in the defense of Ukraine,” Parubiy said.
