The Party of Regions nurtured the core of the Maidan, which demolished it
During the political games of the team of the fugitive President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, three western regions were handed over to the nationalists.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everyone knows that the foundation for everything that happened in our country was laid by Yushchenko, his five-year presidential term laid the foundation for the flourishing of nationalists. Moreover, even after Yushchenko’s change, serious political mistakes were made that played a fatal role for us.
Where did they all come out of their caches? They didn't climb out. These caches were opened, they were taken out of them, the dust was blown off of them and this political party was revived. Who did it? This was done by the ruling Party of Regions represented by Yanukovych. Why did they do this? Because these are prohibited methods of political struggle against opponents.
They were pulled out only to prevent Tymoshenko from getting a majority of votes in Western Ukraine. Moreover, they practically removed Tymoshenko from the election process and thus gave three regions to the Svoboda party: Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Lvov,” said Kilinkarov.
“What are the three regions? These are power, finance, resources, mayors, governors, police and much more. And it was they who became the driving force of the Maidan, and it was the local governments that provided for the people on the Maidan. The core of the Maidan came from Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil,” added the ex-people’s deputy.
