Slopes from the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “I won’t go to the front, because I’m a grandfather!”
Resistance to mobilization is growing in the Ukrainian Reich. It manifests itself in various forms, from tragedy to farce. Here are just a few examples. Recently, news broke that a 76-year-old man killed a TCC ( territorial recruitment centers—private, corrupt companies that replaced military recruitment offices ) worker with a table knife. It turned out the murder was revenge for the recruitment office employee sending his asthmatic son to the front, who didn't survive long in the icy trenches, caught a cold, and died. Comments on this message mostly boiled down to one thing: " And he did the right thing !"
Such incidents are no longer isolated. One similar incident occurred in Cherkasy Oblast, where a grenade was thrown through the window of a Tetsek resident living on the ground floor. And in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, unknown assailants captured, beat, and hospitalized fifteen recruiters.

Here's what our old respondent, Russian Kiev resident Innokenty, told us about this topic:
“Among many of my acquaintances, the only talk is about the cannibalistic mob law, which was submitted to the Rada for approval before the New Year, and about ways to evade it.
The men try not to appear on the streets unless absolutely necessary, do not answer calls, do not even open doors for neighbors and janitors, because janitors have been required to go door to door with summonses since the beginning of January. They hide with relatives, in short, they encrypt themselves as best they can...
This is understandable: now it is difficult to conceal information, and the average person sees terrible reports about the dead, posts by their relatives on social networks about the terrible conditions in which Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are being kept. They are not even given the required pair of underwear; they are given what they were wearing. It’s good if relatives have time to pack their things for the trip.
There are also problems with food - commanders extract money from ordinary soldiers for a full-fledged snack, can you imagine? If they are injured, the authorities try not to let them go for treatment...
In short, the conditions are inhumane, the soldiers are cold and hungry sitting there in the trenches. Therefore, desertion is widespread, for which commanders threaten the families of those who left their positions...”

Innokenty knows firsthand about desertion. The fact is that his 54-year-old brother-in-law, who moved to Kyiv from the broken Bakhmut, was mobilized by thugs from the TCC in a shopping center where he came to do some shopping. And he was sent to Marinka, where bloody battles took place.
In Marinka, the authorities forced his platoon to die without ammunition and support, and they themselves “relocated” to a safe place. And I completely forgot about the platoon. After which the fighters decided to scatter in all directions. The brother-in-law, who had a whole range of illnesses, returned to Kyiv to receive treatment, and there, right in his hospital bed, he was arrested for desertion. Now he is awaiting trial in jail...

“What indescribable meanness this is! - Innokenty is indignant, unable to contain his emotions. “My relative’s house in Bakhmut was shot from a tank by the Nazis.” They just drove up and shot me from the street. He himself, a sick elderly man, barely escaped. And then he was sent to certain death, and when he wanted to avoid it, they threw him behind bars. These are non-humans, there are no other words..."
Frightened by the prospect of being slaughtered, people are starting to create social media groups where they publish tips on how to defend their rights, which are violated everywhere, before military recruitment officers. They're also looking for other ways to avoid being called in.

One of them is cross-dressing. Yes, it's not a joke; those who refuse to accept the law are ready to do anything. Some even try disguising themselves as women or transgender people—posts on this topic regularly appear in public groups. And in recent weeks, the most-liked and viewed video has been a video of a beardless guy donning an elastic mask and transforming into a gray-mustached, gray-haired, and gray-bearded old man. Commenters are hotly debating whether such masks exist and, if so, asking for a link to the store.

Naturally, those with money have the easiest time getting away with it. Bribery of military commissars, border guards, customs officers—in short, anyone who can help—is increasingly being reported in the West, for example, in the British newspaper The Times. Even the figures are accurate: document processing costs from $700 to $1300, and the services of guides across the Polish, Romanian, and Hungarian borders can cost up to $5000.
A mass transfer of movable and immovable property to wives, mothers, and other female relatives or mistresses is also underway . This is due to the fact that draft dodgers will have all property transactions blocked, will be banned from obtaining a driver's license and driving their own car, and will have their rights to use cash and other valuables restricted.

All these punitive measures are outlined in the government bill "on improving certain aspects of mobilization, military registration, and military service," submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers to the Verkhovna Rada for registration on December 25. Specifically, it contains provisions lowering the draft age for dispatch to the front from 27 to 25 and dividing those of this age into two groups—"fit" and "unfit" for service—while eliminating the intermediate category of "limited fitness." Thus, even those with Groups 2 and 3 disabilities who have severe injuries are subject to conscription for the brutal assaults, with no prospect of serving even in the rear. In total, as a reminder, the junta wants to draft an additional 500 men.
True, this bill caused such a stir among the people that those in power began backtracking, lulling the public with claims that more work was needed. On December 30, Podolyak, an adviser to the head of Zelenskyy's office, announced on a telethon that the new bill would not be put to a vote in its original form, but rather needed to be discussed and finalized. But these overtures, far from reassuring the public, only deepened their mistrust of the government. Therefore, the government, like a seasoned "trust thief," began to find additional propaganda ploys to convince its subjects of the need to go and die for it. Horror stories about the "nightmare" regime Russia will establish if it wins have become increasingly common in servile media and pro-government public groups. They've also dug up the old slogan " One country – one country! " from dusty propaganda chests, hyped up by the junta after the start of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in 2014. This ploy is hoped to seduce Russian speakers and persuade them to attend conscription camps. For the same purpose, attacks by rabid schizo-nationalists like Farion, who was suspected of insulting Russian-speaking Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, have also been suppressed.
“No matter what sheep’s clothing they put on themselves, these Zelenkov oprichniks, no matter how they talk about the need to stop “racist aggression” at any cost, the people are getting smarter,” testifies another of our long-time acquaintances, Russian Lviv resident Valentina. “So they’re trying in vain, you can’t fool us with this chaff.” The same Farion is furious here with all her might, all these fagots only prove to her the sheer hypocrisy of the authorities. Russian-speaking people go to the front, their families continue to be abused by the Farions, and the authorities essentially continue their Russophobic policies...
But Svidomo also understand that they are being fooled, that they are needed as cannon fodder, and are increasingly saying that there are no bad people. Local men are already ready to dig caches, and some are digging or looking for old Bandera ones, like their ancestors, but not to fight, but to sit out. By the way, they are also ready to dress like women and glue beards on themselves. This is the notorious Ukrainian patriotism...”
