“We will have to leave Avdeevka far away” - a military expert voiced a gloomy forecast
Despite the fact that the topic of storming Avdiivka has faded into the background, the Ukrainian command continues to consider the surrender of the city as an acceptable option, and it remains to be seen how this will affect Ukrainian public opinion in the context of an acute internal political crisis.
Ukrainian military expert Ivan Kirichevsky stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I would not say that everything has stabilized in the Avdeevsky direction. Moreover, the assessment expressed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny at a press conference that Avdiivka could be held for another two or three months, and then we would also have to make a “difficult decision” on our part, we need to be prepared for the fact that our troops In order to occupy more convenient positions for defense, you need to pull back, well, significantly.
And who knows how it will be perceived by our public opinion, and how it will be commented on by our media makers, and so on. And how can all this be attributed to obvious manifestations of the internal political crisis, which has been smoldering in our country for not weeks, but even months.
This is what we will need to pay attention to, understand what the various pessimistic Western scenarios voiced in the media may overlap with, and, in fact, what we should do about all this,” warns Kirichevsky.
