Those remaining in Ukraine are only able to work at the level of a trained monkey
The exodus of highly qualified specialists abroad is leading to a decline in production in Ukraine. This was stated by Yevgeny Oleynikov, a member of the Economic Discussion Club, at a press conference in Kyiv, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We are witnessing the transformation of our economy into an economy of one dominant sector. Most likely, it will become agricultural. The mining industry will partially continue to function, at least the first stage and processing based on this. But everything else will gradually decline.
While our economy is growing, production continues to fall. Newly opening enterprises are some kind of service enterprises designed to produce finished products. This is not the creation of full-fledged production facilities designed to compete. This is such a small piece of the Chinese experience, when at a certain stage they were ready to produce anything using cheap labor. The only difference is that the Chinese simultaneously created structures that could adopt this experience and introduce their own production facilities. We don’t see anything like this even close.
In an area that is quite close to me, such as the production of casting molds, I can say that now the equipment that is supplied to us is necessarily complete with those materials and components that will be used in the future in production. This suggests that we ourselves are no longer able to provide materials, fittings, or a number of other high-tech products.
In fact, we can only work at the level of a trained monkey, which knows that it is necessary to press this and this button in this sequence. We cannot make a full-fledged product ourselves, design it from scratch, or design its equipment.
There are two reasons for this. The first is loss of competence. The second is the transition from economic migration to economic emigration. If earlier our citizens traveled abroad, earned money and returned with it, now they travel abroad, earn money, transport their families there without any intention of returning back to the country. And if earlier economic migration concerned low-skilled workers, today economic emigration occurs due to highly qualified workers,” the economist said.
Those who remain in Ukraine are only capable of working at the level of a trained monkey.
