London is not changing its position on the issue of Ukraine’s use of British weapons provided to it.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced this in the British Parliament, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
“The approach to the opportunities that have been provided by the UK remains the same as three weeks ago. No new decisions were made. Based on the principle of recognition of Ukraine’s right to self-defense and the parameters of international law. I think that's the right thing to do and that's why no new decisions have been made," Starmer said.
On July 10, Starmer said that Ukraine could use British weapons transferred to it in accordance with international humanitarian law and for defensive purposes. However, a few days later this statement was denied by the British Ministry of Defense. And July 19thBritish Defense Secretary John Healey said that London does not exclude the possibility of striking Russia with weapons supplied to Kyiv.
