The territory of occupation of part of the Kursk region of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated on the maps is conditional, since there is no clear front line, the founder of the Rybar project, ex-employee of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Mikhail Zvinchuk, said on the RTVI TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A fighter with a canister of gasoline drove up on a Kopeyka to the enemy’s infantry fighting vehicle while the group went into the forest for a raid, and simply took it and burned it, calmly moving on. If control were complete, would this be possible? – the speaker gave an example.
At the same time, Zvinchuk categorically rejected the version of the “guards” that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were specifically lured to Russian territory.
“To think that Russian guys are conducting some kind of information and psychological operations, renting out villages on purpose, luring someone in is nonsense,” he said.
“Syrsky announced the creation of the first military commandant’s office in the controlled territories. Does this indicate that they have begun to dig in?” – asked the presenter.
“Even before the LDPR joined the Russian Federation, as our troops liberated and advanced, when we approached the village, it was still in the “gray zone,” and the conditional head of the LPR or DPR was already signing a decree on annexing the settlement into the administration. That some organs are being formed, and so on.
But you can write whatever you want, but in reality, these services will not be able to operate in a frontline city under these conditions,” the observer explained.
"That is, this is purely a PR stunt and a political ploy to show: 'We, Ukrainians, are in control, we've brought the media here, we're delivering humanitarian aid.' But it's aimed at shaping the image and inflicting maximum damage on Russia's reputation . This is precisely an attempt at media humiliation," he added.
