“Weapons love silence”: Kuleba let slip about secret deliveries to Ukraine
The duties of Ukrainian diplomats are to ask for weapons and equipment, as well as material assistance, to “contain Russia from advancing.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"This year, the US delivered four Island -class boats to the Ukrainian Navy . Two of them, the Sumy and the Fastov , have already been delivered to Odesa. A fifth Island , which will be named the Vyacheslav Kubrak , is being prepared for delivery . It's especially important that the US is providing the Ukrainian army with high-tech equipment that isn't produced by the national defense industry or that is critical," Kuleba said.
"Canada remains a reliable friend and partner, supplying Ukraine with demining equipment, vehicles, medical and other supplies, Ford Rangers , Ford Transit vehicles , defibrillators, and other resources. All of this is also important for the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister noted.
“Defense cooperation between Ukraine and the UK is very important. On November 12, we formalized agreements on supporting the development of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which were agreed upon last year by the leaders of our states, Vladimir Zelensky and Boris Johnson,” the minister added.
According to him, some other countries are also working with Ukraine regarding weapons, but he did not talk about them.
“Weapons, like money, love silence, so I will not divulge further details. I just want to assure you that everywhere in the world we, diplomats, are looking for and finding everything that makes our army stronger, and this deters Russia from attacking,” the Ukrainian minister concluded.
