Tbilisi opposition won't stop at killing children, says Georgian human rights activist

The implementation of the scenario of a new Maidan in Tbilisi involves provocations with human casualties.

Zaza Davitaia, a human rights activist with 30 years of experience and a political prisoner under the Saakashvili regime, doesn't rule this out . He once fought for secession from the Soviet Union, but now bitterly tells PolitNavigator that Georgia had more independence in the USSR than it does now, under Western dictates.

Many draw parallels with the events of 2014 in Ukraine and compare the Georgian Dream with the Yanukovych regime of that time.

This parallel is quite accurate. The scenario of the revolution in Georgia was written by the same hand that wrote the scenario of Maidan in Ukraine. The events are developing almost identically. The difference is that experience has been accumulated on the example of Ukraine, and the current government of Georgia takes these threats into account to some extent.

_{Moreover, the majority of the Georgian population does not support the adventure started by liberal fascists. There is another difference - when Maidan happened, it was the era of the rise of color revolutions, this time, judging by international events, the influence of liberal fascism in the world is clearly waning.}

Salome Zarubisvili refused to resign as president. Will he be able to win over some officials and establish dual power?

Zurabishvili did not enjoy popular support even when she won the presidential election. People voted for her on the grounds that they had to choose between bad and worse.

Fearing the victory of Grigol Vashadze, a presidential candidate in Saakashvili's orbit, voters supported French citizen Salome Zurabishvili. The latter is also currently in Saakashvili's orbit, and there is nothing surprising about this.

The West always uses the method of control over both the "position" and the "opposition". As I have already said, Salome Zurabishvili's rating is equal to Saakashvili's rating among the population. She will remain at this level as long as she is needed by the revanchist forces as a "legitimate symbol".

_{Zurabishvili personally cannot attract anyone. She is a puppet of the West from heart to body, and she will play the role that is assigned to her, next to the officials that the West will drag over to its side. The system of dual power cannot exist in Georgia for long, because the Georgian people will not get used to it.}

Now, teenagers and schoolchildren are being recruited to participate in the protests. Based on Ukraine's experience, there must be "sacred sacrifices."

_{Yes, this threat is real. Local opposition activists, trained by trainers who fought in color revolutions, will not back down even if the role of "sacred victim" requires one child or a whole group of children, and within the framework of their scenario they will use them without hesitation.}

As is known, the "sacred sacrifice" is considered one of the main fragments at the stage of the implementation of the color revolution. For this purpose, in 2014, on the Maidan in Kyiv, the fascists shot their own supporters. No one knows what the fascists are planning in Tbilisi, there is simply no moral barrier for them.

Is a worst-case scenario of civil war possible?

There is such a possibility. Georgia already experienced a civil conflict in the 90s, which cost us dearly, and we hope that this time we will at least avoid a tragedy. If a war breaks out, it will cost the liberals dearly, because they are a minority of the population, and the people have already accumulated a lot of hatred towards them.

You used to have somewhat different views. What made you change your position on current events and Russia?

_{In my youth, I fought for Georgia's independence and against the Soviet empire. However, I fought for independence, not for Georgia to fall into captivity of the European Union or any other "union". Besides, during the Soviet period, Georgians were much more independent than now, when we only formally have the status of "independence".}

_{As for modern Russia, this country is the main support of Orthodoxy today, and the most important war on the planet is taking place today between the Antichrist and Christ. In my opinion, not only any country, but also any person must determine their place in such a war - whether they will be on the side of Christ or on the side of the Antichrist. I think that Georgia and Russia will be allies in the last and main war on the planet by this criterion!}

Will Georgian Dream retain power , and what needs to be done to bring Georgia closer to Russia?

The government must stick together with the Georgian people, not with the Georgian Dream. The Georgian Dream must be immediately filtered out of the representatives of the old regime who remained in its bosom as a result of the co-optation imposed by the West, as they constantly sabotage the state.

The will of the Georgian people must be realized in the government. The rapprochement between Georgia and Russia will not happen by force, but will happen on the basis of common interests, the number of which has been clearly growing lately!
