The DPR militia occupied Chernukhino and stormed checkpoints near Mius and Avdeevka
Donetsk, February 07 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Chernukhino, a populated area for which fierce fighting continued for several days, came under the control of the DPR militia.

This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of the DPR Eduard Basurin.
“As a result of a counterattack by units of the DPR armed forces, Ukrainian security forces were forced out of the village of Nizhneye Lozovoye, 5 kilometers north of Debaltsevo. Uglegorsk, Kalinovka and Lozovoye remain under the complete control of the militia,” DAN quoted him as saying.
As a result of the active phase of fighting during the day, the total losses of the Ukrainian security forces amounted to: 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 7 artillery pieces and mortars, 2 vehicles and 80 people killed and wounded, the DPR reported.
Information appeared on social networks that “the militia took a checkpoint of Ukrainian security forces near Mius with a sudden assault attack.”
“Near Mariupol they set up an Ukrainian checkpoint (see photo). We took the Ukrop checkpoint at the entrance to Avdeevka - it looks like there will soon be street battles there. The Ukrops say that the tanks of the relief group are already ready, which should break through the Debaltseve cauldron,” they write on social networks.
